Rams Versus Seahawks Preview and Prediction for Week 16

Playoff implications will be at stake when the Los Angeles Rams go on the road to take on the Seattle Seahawks. The Rams are also trying to recover from their embarrassing loss that occurred against the New York Jets. The Rams became the Jets’ first victory of the 2020 regular season. Los Angeles has been recognized as a team representing the NFC in the Super Bowl this season. However, when quarterback Jared Goff is having an off day, it affects the entire football team.

Last week versus the Jets, Goff threw for 209 yards, two touchdown passes, and one interception. Goff cannot afford to have another subpar performance this week against division rival, the Seattle Seahawks. One of the attributes that have made Russell Wilson so great over the years is his ability to carve up defenses due to having a short field.

If Goff and the Rams commit multiple turnovers in tomorrow’s game, the possibility of them winning goes down significantly. As stated before, having a short field to work with is Russell Wilson’s best friend. A few turnovers by the Rams can expect the Seahawks to score points throughout this matchup.

Regarding the Seahawks, this is by far the best cast of weapons that the organization has surrounded Russell Wilson with since he joined the team in 2012. The rushing attack is not on par with the Marshawn Lynch era, but it’s still capable enough of keeping them in ball games. They will have a tough task this Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams rushing defense.

Los Angeles is currently ranked second in the league when it comes to defending the run. Russell Wilson must figure out a way to deceive the Rams defense throughout this football game. Their secondary matches up well with the Seahawks wide receiver core, especially against DK Metcalf.

Overall, Strike 7 Sports predicts a close ball game between the two teams, which will result in the Seahawks winning by a field goal. The winner of this football game will have the inside track on winning the NFC West title.
